Gentlemen: at the fall Nationals, a fellow was selling collapsible 3-wheel gun carts in the isle where Lodgewood is located. The carts appeared to have been made from jogging stroller frames. I meant to get his name to follow up and missed him. Anyone perhaps know who that might have been or how to reach him? Thanks in advance.

This is most likely CJM on the forum, Chris from the Iredell Blues, one lethal fellow with a musket.

I bought a cart from him but I forget his name. As I recall, he was from the Nansemond Guards.

Gents: thanks for the responses, but my impression was this gentleman made the carts himself using a jogging stroller frame. The carts that CJM was offering appear to be manufactured carts, but the style is the same. I think the seller was asking in the $125-$140 range?

...this gentleman made the carts himself using a jogging stroller frame...

I'm not "the guy" but I've made several of these. I probably had the first one seen at Camp Perry at the Garand Matches more than
7 or 8 years ago.

My secret is do a search on Craig's List for jogging strollers. Seems like the yuppies buy these things and sell them dirt cheap
once the baby outgrows them. This one - http://stlouis.craigslist.org/bab/3404002393.html - is the brand that makes a great folding gun cart.

Yeah our man Chris uses his to jog back and forth to the firing line. He says it gives him a nubian body.

Thanks again gents for the leads. Good info, but would still like to find the seller from Nationals.

I don't know. Chris always says he wants to be nubian.

Ain't that some sort of goat???

To the best of my knowledge Chris does not aspire to be a goat. There is, as Komdr. Kowdoc pointed out however, a nubian goat, but I don't believe it is recognized for any exceptional speed.
Anyway, back to the topic, as the rules require, Chris does tool around behind one of those three wheeled contraptions he sells apparently in practice for that new addition to his house which may or may not have arrived by now.

Hi Tom,
I believe the gentleman you are looking for is Gerald Deans on my team, Nansemond Guards.
Please send me a PM and I'll get you his number.
He is making more carts, I bought one also and it works great.
Hope this helps,
Gary B.

Although there are many things that the Nubians did well, (horsemanship, bow and arrow experts, and mercenary's) I think that our style and culture would surely clash. As for the newest Musket shooter for our team, she is still behind the fort walls. We expect her bayonet charge any day now.

Have you tried ground-up rattle snake rattle (ref. Lewis & Clark: Sac-a-ja-wea)?

I gave her some birth control pills in the hopes that would help her control the birth. She said it was too late for that??????
