Yes you are reading it correct! I currently have 6 sizing dies that are in stock that are used to size "swage" plastic Smith Tubes. These are totally different than any other kind that is currently being sold, and they work. Well until somebody starts copying the copyrighted design ;), which we all know is just a matter of time.
I have seen all types of attempts to fix the dreaded swollen tube issue. From turning the tubes down in a lathe, grinding them, boiling them and throwing them out and starting new.
Well that is why I figured on sizing "swaging" them. I have been using the same tubes for several years and shoot them out of four different Smith Carbines. 1 Original and 3 Navy Arms Repos all with no issues.
About the dies- It is a two piece die that is used in a single stage press, better known as a single stage "chucker" press.
