OK. I'm in an area now where no N-SSA is possible, but I still enjoy my rifled muskets. We have a roundball match every month, but is restricted to patched round balls only. I'm looking for load advice for my JRA Richmond two band with Hoyt rifled barrel. Using my pin guages, the bore is .575 or .5745 to be more precise. So, can anyone recommend a load for me to try that has worked for them in a similar barrel? Thanks.

have a friend that is shooting a smooth bore with a .570 ball and a .20 patch. for just paper or some thing else? i believe 36 grains of 3fff was the load. might be a starting point as your barrel is rifled.
