If you are looking for a stopwatch in seconds but don't want to spend the money on one. There is a free App for the I-phone, I-touch that works just fine. Best of all, it's FREE!!

The good news is, seconds-only stopwatches are cheaper than smart phones. :)

Hey Mike, nice find, thank you. I am having a little trouble locating the specific app in the App Store, could you please let me know what it is called? Thanks again!

Go to itunes store and search for stop watch app. They have several to choose from for either the iphone or ipad.

After playing "download roulette" for a while, here is one I stumbled on:

Stopwatch Analog+Digital (http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/stopwatch-analog+digital/id383907758?mt=8)

Although its main display is on MM:SS format, it does have a seconds only counter also.

Yes, the one I found is called "stopwatch analog + digital" at the i-tunes app store. It's very basic with an analog dail and a digital seconds display in the lower left hand corner.

Dad gum, it is hard as heck just to get a signal out here in the mountains, let alone all that smart phone stuff.

I'm comfortable with the "Dumb Phone" myself.

Hey Muley. What cell phone carrier are you using? Have you tried Verizon? Works well for me at the Fort.

Some apps, such as a stopwatch app, should work fine even without network connectivity.

I use US Cellular. It is about the only carrier that works at my house down in Southwest Virginia. It works good at the Fort too.
