I have an 1863 Springfield Rifle for sale. Some jackwagon back in the day decided that it would be a good idea to bore out the barrel and make a brush gun, or shotgun, or something. In any event, the action is very tight and the wood is in good shape. Someone carved a "V" into the left side of the stock and an "H" on the right. The spring is missing from the rear sight. The metal is in good shape, the finish is gone.
Asking $700 or best offer. Don't be afraid to make an offer. I understand that this is not a museum piece, but it's a solid example nonetheless. Again, make an offer if you're interested, you won't hurt my feelings.
