By the way, Brian's lead is the good stuff-- pure sheet lead. I don't know where he gets it, I don't ask,but I somehow suspect there's a dentist's office with no shielding in the X Ray room. Seriously though, very soft, excellent quality, pure leady goodness. No weird chunks o slag floating in the pot, and the minies fly straight and true. Got a pile of Brian's lead last year, and will be weighing down the car with another pile this Nationals. I don't need a Brinell tester to tell ya it's excellent quality, but if I don't get too lazy this winter I'll have a Brinell test to back it up next spring.

Cheers!

Hey Brian!

Another team mate would like 100# of lead. That brings my total order to 300lbs.

Please let me know if you still have it available. And if its not too difficult (or if you have a scale on site), since the lead is for 3 people, can you divide it into 3 piles, each at 100 lbs? Oh yeah, and can you have a cupcake on each one? (Just kidding on the last part - A cookie would be just fine LOL).

Thanks a ton! (well, more accurately, 15% of a ton...)

-Mike

To all of the skirmishers whom placed orders for lead and picked up thier lead, thank you. As for the 4 people who placed orders for lead and failed to show up to pick up their lead, also thank you for wasting my time and money. You know who you are.
I also understand that things come up and plans change. The considerate thing to do might have been a phone call, email, PM, send a note, mail, carrier pigeon, smoke signal? Anything. Next time those individuals can get their lead elsewhere. Brian

Well said Brian; thanks for bringing it, and I was very happy with my purchase both in terms of price and quality. That should last me a full year, but if you're selling again next year I'll keep you in mind. :D

Brian, I wondered if someone had backed out on ya-- saw your big "LEAD FOR SALE" sign Sunday on our way out. Unfortunately the Camry was bottoming out on the speedbumps with all our gear plus the 200# of lead in the trunk. Another 100# and we might have had structural problems!
Thanks for lugging it down for us, see y'all next spring.
