Smith bullet weight

I am now using a 515139 D, 340 grain Lyman mould. Underneath the 515139 D there is 759 and off to the left of these numbers are 2H. What do these numbers mean? Also the weight of the bullet is somewhere on the 365 grain and not the 340 as advertised. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

The numbers tell Lyman what cherry was used to cut the mold and what vintage the mold is.
I think Lyman base the bullet weigh with number 2 alloy. It depends on what for lead you are using as to what the bullets will weight.

I am using soft lead. How much of a difference would that be?

The more pure lead in your mix the heavier the bullet will be and will also be less in diameter than a bullet with more tin and antimony in the mix.
