For sale three band 1861 model custom built musket. This artistry is some of Tom's finest work. Musket is in immaculate condition with crisp lines and edges, wood is like new with no dings bumps or bruses. Fine finish with Tom's cartouche opposite of lock plate. Original swelled shank tulip shaped end ram rod, barrel bands, nose cap, butt plate and trigger guard. Original US Lock plate with original internals marked E. Robinson legend in arc over New York dated 1864. Case colored original hammer with about 75% finish remaining. Glass bedded barrel for competition, and trigger tuned to a crisp 4 pounds. Barrel is .577 Weisz and stamped 1864, high quality reproduction blued rear sight. Skirmish ready with peep sights drilled. This musket belonged to a former skirmisher and is a really nice gun! Will be at the remaining Fort Shenandoah skirmishes until sold. :)
