For Sale James River Armory Smoothbore Musket. Reproduction of the Confederate altered cut down 1842 musket with 24" barrel and pinched front sight. Wood is in immaculate like new condition with no burn out behind the nipple. No handling marks and no bumps or bruses. Bore is fine and measures about .695", Barrel is glass bedded for competition. Metal is in fine condition also with reproduction Harpers Ferry 1853 dated lock plate. Three inspector cartouche markings opposite of lock complement the fine wood. Trigger is tuned to a crisp 3 1/4 pound pull. N-SSA approved range ready musket will be at the remaining Fort Shenandoah skirmishes until sold. Please feel free to contact me for photos. :D
