The first is a 1861 Springfield Musket (Armi Sport)--$485 plus shipping, bank draft only. Sighted in for point of aim with 40 gr. of fff Goex and the Rapine Wadcutter, and with 46 gr. of fff Goex and the Rapine Old Style. Spare parts include 4 nipples, mainspring, 2 sear springs, sear, tool for rear sight screw, a functional original tumbler (with original hammer screw) which was fitted to the Armi Sport lock. Very nice stock except for two light scratches between the second and third barrel bands (see pictures of this part of the musket).

The 1861 Springfield musket has been sold, pending funds receipt. The Zouave musket is still available. It has served as a backup musket most of the time. The numerous spare parts indicate a desire at one time to build a Zouave shooter.

My son has indicated that he wants the Zouave so I am taking it off of the market. In its place I have just put an ad on this BB for another of my backups--a 1858 model Enfield by Armi Sport.
