I have a Richmond 2 band 58 cal. rifle built by Brannen M. Sanders.
A rifle built by Sanders took the Nationals recently.
Some call it a Mounted Infantry Rifle. It has a Whitaker Barrel stamped 1861. One or two original lock parts, barrel band and butt plate. I have been stopped many times at the Nationals to be asked if it was original. Its been sitting in a closet since the 80's and has some rust on the barrel. Comes with standard rear sight. Lock Plate is stamped C.S. Richmond, 1861. This rifle has been glass bedded and match accurized and has placed many times at matches. Still has the gold NSSA Approval sticker from 1981 Nationals in the trigger guard.
I am selling so I can buy a mandolin. 800.00 worth twice that.
