Jim,

I have one that when I first got it had an original model 1855 lock on it. On the underside of the barrel it was marked "Yeck". It actually weighs only 7.5 pounds. Mine had an iron nose cap with a red brass butt plate. The rear sight was off an original 1863 Springfield. Can't think of any other details but if I can help out don't hesitate to ask!

As Dan said. My Yeck Richmond 2bndr, underneath the bbl, is marked YECK, and on top and left side is 1861 VP w/eagle. Bore is .577 w/ three lands and grooves. Can't remember where the other parts came from as I built it to many yrs ago, but I'm sure some were Yecks. It shot real good for a younger reb just starting, at the time. I only quit shooting it cause I built a Fayetteville w/ a Harmon/Large bbl that I still shoot.
