Need a 45-70 barrel for an 84-88 w/ cleaning rod bayonet add. w/500.000 serial or better. Clean bore-must have receiver - have trap dated 84 in great shape need to restore a parade rifle which has been burned@ the breach. All other parts in great shape. Wood dated 91. What a shame to burn a good barrel.

Call Red Daugherty, 260-833-2315. His address is 1060 LN 340 Jimmerson Lake, Fremont, IN 46737.

I just saw him this past weekend at the Michigan Antique Arms Collector's show in Novi, MI. He can get you anything you want.

He's the guy that got me started building a trap door carbine as a "shooter" project last year. Very nice man with fair prices and a whole boatload of knowledge about these guns.
