First, I want to thank everyone who responded to my listing about selling my Parker Hale Carbine. It appears in the end I was not using enough powder. I increased from 43 gns to 48 gns, what a difference. Using the Rapine (.580) I shot 8 times at 50 yards. Total count was X-2, 5 in black, one just outside black, my fault. I then tried my original .577, was just ok at 48 gns, increased to 50 gns, X-1 9ring-1 I quit while the quitting time was right. I'll hit the range in a couple of days and do 100yards, now will have to work up a charge for that range. Again, thanks everyone.
