Thanks to the tireless efforts of SAC member Mike Davenport, we now have the answer to one of the questions. That is, who actually made the N-SSA Approved CVA imported Colt 1847 Walker Revolver? Mike found definitive photographic proof that the revolver in question was made by Armi San Marco (ASM). Thank you Mike!
This should be a boon for those of you who want to shoot a Walker on the line, becuse there seems to be no shortage of used ASM 1847 Walkers available on the secondary market. The good news is you will no longer have to get a SAC card for a Walker made by ASM....just buy it and go bang away with it to your hearts content!
We are still looking for information on who actually made the CVA imported Colt 1860 Army.
