A friend has a ram-rod bayonet model Springfield (is that an 1888 model? - not sure) that has a bad barrel.

Does anyone have a good barrel to sell or swap?

Oversize bore (about .464, I was told) and a badly pitted chamber that leaves warts on the brass.

Never thought about Mr Hoyt. The gun is not a collectors item so a quality reline would do the trick.

Bobby relined a .50-70 Trapdoor for me a few years ago. He did a wonderful job!

550 to 800 for the normal range gun.
Anything out of the norm or something special could run 1200-1500

Terry that sets up on the far end of the suckers row creek side 2nd to the last shop if I remember has several.
I see him all the time at the collector shows around here.
If you want one I can help you find a good one.
Even has a few Ram Rod Bayo guns. They are getting harder and harder to find.

Sent you a PM.

I am relatively new to the N-SSA so I wouldn't have any parts you'd be interested in. I have a pair of wool pants, look almost new, that are marked 34. I have lots of Lee die sets for modern calibers that I don't use anymore. Also have about 30 years of boxed sets of American Rifleman magazines starting from somewhere in the 50's or 60's. Not sure exactly where they start, but I do know that I have a copy of the magazine that Oswald saw to buy his mail order Carcano in 1963 (think it was April).
