Hi,
I was looking for parts for a lock and was told that this is no regular mississippi lock.She said it might be an overton and i should do more research.So here i am.I was reffered her by another gun forum.
After looking closer i see the lock is different.No markings except a 59 and a small 18 on the lock plate back.The hammer is also different,it has stamped on it's back 59.
on the barrel all there is,374375376377378 is a 47.
The patch box,butt plate,and guard plate all have crude hammer marks.the trigger is held on by a pin rather than a screw.
I'm missing some screws to hold on the hardware,the sear has a chip out of the tip,sear spring is broke.also i have a lower band that might not be for the gun.and the stock (which is cracked in several places)was stripped and sanded.
Parts or is it special?
