If you meant 56-50 brass, Midway is out but can be back ordered and will be in stock next month.
They have 50-70 Government brass in stock that you can form to 56-50 if you want.

David,

Try,

Buffalo Arms Co.
99 Raven Ridge
Sandpoint, ID 83864

www.buffaloarms.com (http://www.buffaloarms.com)

Do a search on their site under "obsolete brass" and/or "56-56 centerfire". This is how it is listed in their Catalog.
Hope this helps,
Blair

I notice all of us helpful types have been assuming (we all know about the roots of THAT word) that you really
want 56-50 brass.

If you DO want 56-56, good luck. I've never seen it anywhere. Wasn't that a rimfire cartridge in it's original form?
Can't imagine how much work it would be to reload a rimfire case, including repriming the rim. I did see a disabled thread in a Cowboy Action Shooting forum about converting 56-50 to 56-56, so maybe we aren't being all that stubborn.

If you do want 56-50, Track of the Wold also advertises brass on their web site - http://www.trackofthewolf.com/Categories/partDetail.aspx?catId=2&subId=26&styleId=75&partNum=CASE-56-50-SPENCER-100. They also offer it in 50 count packages.
Price is about a buck a case, plus shipping.

It's Starline brass, so I guess you could also go direct to Starline.

I have a Spencer on my bucket list. Maybe some day...(sigh)

Yes, I do mean .56-56. A couple years ago I was fortunate enough to acquire some centre fire brass in this calibre from this forum. I do appreciate the responses. Was unable to hit a bull's butt at 50 feet with my December, '63 delivered carbine. It's at Hoyt's being lined in the original calibre, mostly because I'm stubborn. I'm aware .56-50 is much more practical, but, then, we'd all be firing M.16s if that was the criteria.
