What is the maximum number of grains of FFFg you can load into a Rogers & Spencer revolver and still have room in the chamber to seat a round ball flush?
Any idea of the velocity and "foot pounds" such a load produces?
Inquiring minds would like to know!
THANKS!!!!!!

Southeron Sr.,
Suggestion... fill a clean, dry R & S cylinder Chamber full of powder, poure that out onto a good powder scale and weigh it.
This should give you a starting place for working up your Max load. Bullet type and full weight will effect this info also, but it will give you a starting point to work from.
Just an idea on my part, and I hope you find this info useful,
Blair

I have a load of 36 grns with the ball on top. I use a loading press when shooting so all the balls are seated at the same depth. Marv
