Selling a reproduction Smith carbine on the bulletin board for a teammate. Artillery model Pietta made Smith Carbine bought through Navy Arms. Original owner, lightly used and well maintained. Color case hardening on receiver and blueing on barrel in very good condition. Action locks up tight without play side to side or front to back. Usual cracks in buttstock wood on top from tightening buttstock screw, but solid. Crown is free of defects, bore is bright, shiny, and clean. Only modifications from as built are a taller front sight and a rear peep sight soldered on to the original V notch sight. All screws are original to the carbine, heads in very good condition. Smooth trigger pull within N-SSA specifications, unmodified, smoothed from use.
Also included is a leather sling, 75 unused black plastic Smith tubes, approx. 125 lightly used Smith tubes, and another 100+ Smith tubes well used. A rapine 515320 single cavity mould w/ handles, as well as a push through .512 sizer are also included. For local pickup, or delivery to the Fort at the Fall Nationals, approx 300 rounds soft lead bullets will also be included.
