1. BRAND NEW James River Armory custom/defarbed Richmond rifle-musket. These muskets originally were produced using the captured machinery from Harper's Ferry and were the most prolific CS-made arm used in the war (and woefully under-represented in the hobby today!) This musket has an 1861 dated "high hump" lock as well as an iron butt plate and nose cap, which would put its production sometime at the end of 1861.

The musket was built around a Robert Hoyt .58 caliber barrel with the standard three lands and grooves. It has been modified/improved/defarbed by the following measures: Stock has been stripped, contoured, stained and sealed with linseed oil. There are no modern markings on the visible part of the barrel. "U" stamps have been placed (authentically off-center) on the barrel bands. The Italian lock is case hardened.

The musket is BRAND NEW in all respects, has never been fired or taken to an event.

2. P1853 Enfield Rifle-Musket $840.00 postage paid

James River Armory defarbed Armi Sport P1853 Enfield rifle-musket. CS imported musket with all appropriate stamps on the stock. Lock plate is marked "1861 TOWER".

Musket was used once and is in top condition. Includes Blockade Runner CS Sling, tompion, and Enfield rifle tool. Add a Todd Watts defarbed Enfield bayonet for a combined price of $850.00 (or purchase the bayonet separately for $75.00)

4. Model 1842 Springfield Musket $840.00 postage paid

BRAND NEW James River Armory defarbed Armi Sport model 1842 Springfield musket. Marked "1847" on lock and barrel. Musket has been defarbed by stripping and restaining the stock and finishing with linseed oil. All modern markings removed.

You may add a brand new Italian bayonet to his musket for $100.00

While examining the Richmond musket today for a prospective customer I discovered that the barrel was in fact NOT made by Bob Hoyt. This is a standard James River Armory defarb job, which brand new retails for $995.00.
