I know this has been discussed before, but I couldn't get results from a search, so here goes.

I'd like to know what barrel lengths existed for '42 Macon conversions. Also, is the wood screw method for securing the front band acceptable for all barrel lengths or for specific lengths?

Thanks in advance,

Duane

I want to say that the barrel length is 30", 34" and 36" if I remember.

30" and 34" use round head wood screws. 30" can also use a band spring. 36" uses band spring only.

Email me jh44ny at verizon.net and I will send you copies of the Small Arms Committee sheets for the C.S. altered 1842 models that are acceptable for use in the N-SSA's competitive matches.
