I have a Sharps Armi-Sport Carbine that works great. However, I want to know what everyone is using for a bullet. My barrel slugs out to about .547". I am using the Christmas-tree bullet which measured .552" - .557" at the largest base. My groups from a rest are not that great and I was wondering if my bullet diameter is a little to small. .005" sounds like a fit, but I think a larger diameter bullet would improve my pattern. :?: (I can use all the help I can get.)

The .557465 mold from Rapine is what works best in an Armisport. I use 35 grains fff swiss powder and cardboard tubes .87" and I get X ring groups at 50 yds. Jim B.

Ok, "What is one more bullet mold (one can't enough of them)" . Does anyone have one for sale or that I could try out?

I have found the mold that works. I now am willing to sell my two Sharps molds. Both are cut to original Lyman specs. The first is a Christmas Tree style and the second is the same except it does not have the "tie base" . Both do shoot well (but not in my Armi Sport which has a larger barrel. Would like to sell both. I will be at the Spring Nationals (if you can wait that long.) I have samples. Both molds $80.00. These are steel molds re cut from Idea/Lyman blocks. (I will be away from my computer until after February 14th)
