Pietta 1861 navy .36 cal

Can I use pietta 1861 navy .36 cal 8" barrel in competition?

No one seems to want to help so, i'll give it a try. The Pietta 61 Navy Colt is not approved with a blanket approval. The Uberty is. Same with the 1860 Army Colt. SAC tells me to submit my 1860 Army and it should pass. Probably the same with your 61. I understand that there is nothing wrong with the Pietta revolvers. They just have never been submitted for approval. Uberty's Colts are approved but their Rems are not for the same reason. I hope I am not misleading you here but I think this is the case. Submit it to SAC and see what happens.:D.

Dear Buckwheat, yes the pietta 1861 colt navy is not on the approved arms list as Joe stated because they never submitted one for production approval so bring yours to the SAC office and we will measure it up and if meets specs we will give you an individual approval for that arm.
