Goex suffered what they refer to as a "production interruption" on June 7th. [I just LOVE powder plant, under statement "corporatese."] Fortunately, no one was injured. Production will resume in Mid-October.

Hodgdon (the owners of GOEX) have retained a 1st Class engineering firm to re-design their production processes. What I think this means is that GOEX will end up producing a better product in a plant that is of a much more modern design.

Probably. But I've noticed that GOEX is also taking the Swiss threat seriously. And bless them, they're stepping up their game instead of going downmarket. It wouldn't surprise me if they came out with a better powder at a reasonable price.
