muzzle velocity?

Does anyone have any statstics for an avaerage muzzle velocity firing todays .58 caliber minnie? Thank you.

Gary, Thank you for the charts. Excelllent information! Just what I was looking for.

I am new to the organization, n-ssa but, I have been active in historical interp for a number of years. It occurred to me that questions from an Army Veteran recently, I didn't know these facts and should be able to better compare todays weapons to our favorites.
