Well Michael I'm glad you enjoy these posts but you need to know I have to be careful. We have some of these Sir Walter Scott folks in the N-SSA that are into chivalry, defending their honor, flattering the ladies, Southern rights, Northern rights, women's rights and all that. I've been challenged to one duel already, but in Norm's case the firing was down range, a very modern and progressive idea. And we all know that in real dueling a tie is not a win. My main concern is with the SOUTH Carolina folks. We all are well aware of what they did way back in the dog days of '61. That why I always lavish nothing but praise on these folks -- like Bootsie.

I have relatives and long time friends in both North and South Carolina, met a lot of nice people at the Skirmish in Statesville around April 1st...

No I was at the March Skirmish and the natl. but none in April. Then again maybe that was last year. I have short term memory problems. I can recall vividly when Miss. Vermeer twisted my ear in third grade however!! (1953)

Eggman are you still with us? Did the earthquake do anything? Felt it here in Ohio, getting thunderstorms overnight and this morning. Are you close to the fort?
