I'm looking for:

1) A nipple for a Dixie 1854 Jager. Who carries replacements?

2) A Rapine .535, .536, or .537 400 minie mold. If I can't find a Rapine, who makes something close.

Dan,

NEI makes a traditional style 3 ring minie in .54 caliber. The bullet comes out of the mold at .538" diameter. The mold is all steel and has a captive base pin. The mold casts nicely and uses RCBS handles (no modifications) or Lyman large mold handles with a little modification. The mold designation is .54 HB.

Dan The nipple size in my Arms Moravia Jager is 8x1.25 thread. Check with Lodgwood for that size.
Rapine is out of the business so the suggestion of the NEI mold would be a good one. There are sill several members that may want to part with a wilkingson mold in 54 cal. Hope this helps. Wayne Shaw Harlan's Light Cav 1985V
