Deer Tallow "Super" Lube

Supposedly a lube mixture made up of 60% Beeswax and 40% Deer Tallow is a "Super Lube" because it remains stable in temperature ranges from 95 Degrees F down to 32 Degrees F.

Has anyone ever tried Deer Tallow in their Lube Formula?

I can't say I have found "wild" game with enough excess body fat for it to be considered tallow.

I've used bear tallow with bees wax for over a decade, and really like it, but have never tried deer tallow. MCM and SPG aren't as good as bear grease.

You won't know until you try a batch. Please do and then post how you like it on the BB.

I have used beeswax and deer tallow mixture for years. For me it works great.
