Contact Ron Pertersons Gunshop in Albuquerque NM, 305-255-8695, They had one there a couple of weeks ago with a good price on it. I examined it and almost bought it myself. Hope this works.

The Gunbroker listing is a nice one, but a model 1863 and a tad pricey to boot.

I have a Dixie Miroku 1861 converted to a 2 band Artillery Model with a Small Arms Card. Defarbed by John Zimmermann, converted and passed muster with the SAC about 10 years ago. I'd lke to get $475. plus shipping. If interested, email me at irish1861@aol.com or PM is fine.

Jack,
I would jump right on that deal if it were a 3 band. Thanks for the offer.

Try S&S Firearms. They list minie bullets in their current catalog. There is a link to their web site on the homepage of this site under "Links of Interest".
The one Miroku I shot had a .580 bore and I understand most/all of their production was consistent in this regard. That being the case you would want bullets sized .579 - .577 (from .001 to .003" less that land to land diameter).
Also, check the link to Lodgewood. Click on "Bullets" on their homepage. They have contact info on Pat Kaboskey, who also sells minie bullets.
