It pains me to sell my 1816, as I looked and saved for years to get it. But, I have a M1842 with too much sentimental value to get rid of, and don't see the need for two smoothbores.

Pedersoli made M1816 Harper's Ferry percussion conversion. Unknown age, but it is in overall great shape. No cracks in the stock, good bore, and some slight corrosion around the lock/hammer/cone area and muzzle. Defarbed by John Zimmerman, with some additional work done. The previous owner refinished the stock with linseed oil mixed with a little stain to give the wood a darker appearance to show age. The hammer has also been replaced to a more correct style. I believe the hammer is original. Wood has been reworked for a more correct size. The wood has multiple minor bumps, scratches, ect. But, this would have been a 42 year old gun in 1861 and wouldn't have looked new.

The gun will come with a reproduction bayonet and ramrod. I have an original ramrod available for an additional $100. Asking price for the gun, repro bayonet, and repro rammer is $1250 + shipping, and $1350 + shipping for the gun, repro bayonet, repro rammer and original rammer. No trades, unless you have a C&R or tube gun German MP40 (I add cash, of course).
