I am making up some replica .577 Enfield Minies (without the boxwood base plug.) As these smooth sided bullets use a "Paper Patch," just like the originals, are they "legal" (because they use a Paper Patch) for N-SSA competition?

Inquiring minds want to know!

THANKS !!!

P.S. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Where do you find a mold for the smooth-sided original style Pritchett bullets for the Enfield?

Actually, I swage my own. Dixie Gun Works probably still sells an English made bullet mould for casting Enfield bullets.

Did you ever get a reply? Is the authentic duplication of original ammunition "legal"?
