I just traded for a nice 2nd model Maynard and it's for sale. The guy that traded it to me was in the process of making it his shooter but he bought a new 1st model and traded it to me for a Shiloh Sharps. It has a very small fire hole , a crisp 3lb. trigger pull , a very tight lock-up and double cartouches on the butt stock. There is a repair on the butt stock on the bottom just in front of the butt plate. It looks as if someone replaced some wood several years ago. It will make a fine shooter.
