Hi all,
just wondering what the Richmond Type II shell jackets are like from S and S Firearms? Are they lined, quality? Is it recommended to get a size bigger, i.e. I am normally size 42 for shirts, jumpers is a 44 better for a shell jacket?

Thanks,
Damon

S&S does not make their uniforms but the makers they use are very good. Original RD jackets were lined and I have never seen a quality reproduction that is unlined. Those I have seen sold by S&S are lined and of good quality. Some where on their site should be a form for ordering and taking measurments. I suggest you go by that and then if you want a little more room ask S&S about it.

Another good maker is Richmond Depot out of Richmond. http://www.kabar44.com/index.htm

Can't go wrong with either vendor.

FWIW, I can second Richmond Depot as a maker. They are a little pricey, but the quality is first rate.
