I have an officer's frock coat, an original with New Hampshire buttons, I rescued from a costume shop. At one time in its existance it had lieutenant or captains shoulder straps, now missing.
I know the N-SSA has no officers, but the N-SSA does have many who collect original period goodies.
I would like to finish off the uniform and covers its naked shoulders.
Thank you,

Steve,

Here is the deal. I have artillery straps, but they need to be authenticated before the deal is completed. I bought these at the estate sale of John DeWalt of Knap's Battery (NSSA) back in the day when real pieces were available. John live near me, and after he passed, the contents of his house were sold at Auction. At that sale there were some real good pieces; real Civil War artifacts were sold. Then again the straps might be early reproductions. If real, the straps will cost more than the reproductions. How would you like to proceed? Are you interested? If Yes, please respond.

True Blue and Diamond Hard,
