Offfered here is a very nice original Springfield model 1840 .69 Smoothbore musket that has been converted to pecussion. Mechanics are great metal is very good (buttplate has some pitting)Bore is dark but smooth, wood is very good with strong cartouches. comes with an original Model 1835 Bayonet a beautiful Early War Musket at a Great Price!!! $ 895 shipped ( CONUS)
