View Full Version : TAKING ORDERS: correct .54 caliber loading tubes!

For you .54 caliber shooters (Austrian Jaeger, Lorenze, Mississippi, Common Rifle, Wurttemburgische, etc). I found a source of perfectly sized .54 caliber, flat-bottomed, LDPE tubes. No more cramming your .54 caliber bullet into a half-inch tube, or those awful vinyl tubes! I have tried over a dozen companies and only found one product that is the perfect size/material for our purposes.
They are a custom-order item, and more expensive than the other tubes. They are $20 per hundred, plus postage if you want them before Nationals. But, they basically last a lifetime.

Please reserve your orders in advance. Send me a PM or e-mail me at gmkmd@aol.com. I'll have to ask for payment in advance for orders.

Glenn,

Can you tell me what the inside diameter of your tubes might be before I spend $20? The ".54 caliber" orange polyethylene tubes sold by sutlers at the Nationals might work with .533 diameter bullets but my .542 bullets are too big for them.

I'll have to check the exact measurement. They have a slight taper inside, so they work with a good range of bullet sizes. I have used them with 0.548 bullets and they are a nice snug fit, so yours will be fine.

Just received the .54 caliber tubes, and they should be packed and ready to ship on Monday. Thanks to all who ordered. Still have more available for those who want them.
