Gentlemen: I have a Tri-L .44 Remington I purchased used from another member. Am having some challenges finding a good load which performs consistently. Might I ask for recommendations? How about the filler you use....cream of wheat? Any particular lube seem to work better than others? Dad always said if you go through a minefield, follow somebody. Thanks in advance.

What challenges are you facing? What are you using, to what result?

I have one as well. Real tack driver.

I use 18.5 grns 3F Goex, cornmeal filler w/.457swedged ball. Seal the top of the loaded chamber with Rob's lube

Gotcha, that is the kind of information I am looking for. I was using 20 gr 3F Goex and not getting very good groups. You using a stainless nipple? Thanks in advance, Tom

yup sure do and I put in new ones every season.

Use a sandbag rest and play around with the load in 1 gr until your close, then dial it in with 1/2 gr increments either side of your best load.
