Need a Merrill main spring .What spring can be altered to fit if necessary .Thanks in advance

Bob, send me a PM. Do you know what they look like? I can probably make one for you. I have been making my own Common Rifle Mainsprings lately with great success. I forge them from spring stock. Nothing cast!

I have a spare Merrill mainspring for my carbine. Since it is my only spare, I need to hang on to it. However, I'd be happy to make it available for copying, over the off season. The spring looks like a flint shotgun or smaller Mississippi spring. John Holland has my e-mail.
