First start with reviewing the recently posted SAC Approved listing that was just posted under the Offical Information section of the Bulletin Board. Section 6 has the listing of approved reproduction Breechloading arms. Section 8 has the list of approved processes for rimfire to centerfire conversions. Sticking to 52 or 54 cal is going to limit you to what you might find. Consider 44 cal. in a half stock Kentucky Ballard or 46 cal. in 3 band Ballards (45 Colt). There is a lot of info out there in our knowledgeable membership. Hopefully others will chime in with their thoughts or ideas.
