M1905 with 1910 scabbard. Bayonet dated 1906, first year of production. Made at Springfield arsenal, very good condition, full length, polished bright blade , handle still has ridges showing, no cracks. Original and untouched.
Scabbard first model, dated RIA 1910 H.E.K., full length leather cover, metal throat with modified leather hanger to fit web style belt marked J.H.S.
Slight damage to scabbard tip and several inches of stiching has let go at the mid point. But still sound. A great example of a very early Springfield bayonet. Fits m1903 rifle. 225.00 + shipping Pictures available upon request.
