I visited the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond this past weekend. There is a display of a fully outfitted soldier that includes
blue pants that are stated to be made of cotton. I have tried to post a picture of the display without success. For those of you
who may be familiar with the exhibit I was curious if there is a source of a close reproduction of the fabric that makes up
the pants.
I enjoyed my visit to the Museum and was allowed to view the battle flag of the 7th Mississippi Infantry under which I have
family members who fought and died. Ms Wright( the collections manager) gave me more information
about the technical aspects of these flags than I thought I would ever know.
