I acquired a Scott Gresham Richmond carbine from a team mate. It has 6 groves to it and I was wondering if anyone has an idea of powder charge and type of bullet to use in it. Right now I have the Rapine International and an RCBS 578 that I was thinking of using. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dutch ,
Is it a Hoyt barrel ? My Hoyt Richmond (7 L & G) likes the Hodgdon bullet with 39 grains 3f Goex. Benched a 1" group @ 50 yds.

Gary,
On the SAC card it states for the barrel that it is a repro G.S. Gresham. The cal is 577. I have not heard of any Gresham barrels in a long time so that is why I was hoping that I would get some insight on his barrels.

See you at the skirmish and thanks for the reply.
