we are talking about hosting a golfball mortar shoot for fun at our shoot next spring. Everyone had so much fun shooting them at the artillery shoot.

I think I saw some animal abuse also. But the music is cool.

Seems like a very bad idea. You know, it makes that little cannon seem less dangerous. Not good. You must always respect the gun and your surroundings.

Do you think the nationals have room in the schedule for this event? :?
Looks like fun!

That's wild. A whole pound of powder... How do you know where "down range" is?

I'd hate to have to dig one out after a week of Virginia rains soften the ground up.

A Golf ball mortor event would be great fun and AFFORDABLE. Great way to get more folks involved in artillery. I have a golf ball mortor and would really like to compte.

At our ACWSA Labor Day skirmish in Rhinelander, WI, they set up a three hole golf course. The golf ball mortars shot onto the green, then they had putters there to get them into the hole. I'm not a golf ball mortar shooter, but there was a lot of laughter coming from the participants.
