It looks identical to the 1.2 quart jewelry/dental ultrasonic cleaner I bought on ebay 2 years ago. I use birchwood/casey case cleaner in it for two 480 second cycles and rinse with water. It cleans my brass inside and out and I don't have to worry about walnut hull residue in the primer pockets or ignition hole(Maynard cases). I like how easy it is to use. I would check Cabela's price to see if it's inflated because of the name and compare it to models on ebay that many times have free shipping.

gary i bought one of these in the spring. to be honest i wasnt sure it would work on maynard brass but after using it i was more than pleased. i toss my brass into a jar of soapy water at the range. when i get home i toss them into the ultrasonic cleaner. after a few cycles they come out supper clean. they are not shiny but they are fouling free and ready to dry and load. now for the good news. this appears to be a relabled jewelry shop cleaner. shop around and you can save yourself some money.

A few years ago, I bought a small ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight. I strip down my revolver parts and put them through a few cycles. It's scary to watch all the crud and corrosion come out of pores in the metal that you can't see. It works well for that, but I find it hard to believe it'll polish brass.

I wonder what would happen it you threw some of those ceramic polishing beads in with the brass?

if you use a liquid cleaner i dont think you are gona get a brite case shiny case but more of a dull clean one. if you run up on something that does polish and clean at the same time how about letin us know. so far im pretty happy with a clean dull case.
