!. Have a Steel frame, .31 caliber Model 1849 Pocket kit. It is a complete assembled gun with good timing, just needs polishing and finishing. I started, just have too manyn projects on my plate. Grips are mostly shaped, cylinder is polished(almost ready for finish.) You will need to polish the barrel, frame and gripframe, blue(or your finish of choice), and stain and varnish the grips. Shootable as is. No Idea on the maker, says "Dixie Gun Works" on the top of the barrelI'm asking $150 plus shipping.
2.Original P-53 Enfield made by Tranter. About 6" of barrel missing, all of the forearm is gone. No rear sling swivel, or sight leaf, the sight base is there. Dated 1863 Tower. Has the square ear screw escutchions. All in all its a correct Civil War era import that was probably cut not long after the war. Heavy patina, good strong working lock with nothing missing. Buttplate is stamped with a rack #. Came out of an attic up here in Maine, somewhere in Lincoln County. This is the same one i was selling earlier, I guess a fair price for parts is not a fair price for a gun, and since I will not part it out, $225 plus shipping.
I am open to trades, preferably for high quality cavalry gear, but open to most anything.pics of the Enfield are available, will take some of the pistol. Email or PM for pics. yankee1865@msn.com
