As my interest have shifted more to collecting I have decided to sell or trade a couple of guns that might appeal to either experienced or novice shooters.

1) Fremont Rifle - Put together for me several years ago by Steve Doyle. All original parts except the ramrod, rear sight, and front band. Barrel is glass bedded and was relined by Hoyt. The stock is one piece, not streached, the lock is correctly dated, the US and eagle was removed. It is of course .69 cal and comes with a Rapine wadcutter mold, Rapine sizer, 100 (more or less) loading tubes, and a cleaning rod. I shot it about 10 times after I got it but It is not sighted in and does not have a SAC card simply because I never had it inspected. $850

2) 1851 cadet built by Hoyt. Has both rifled and smoothbore barrels with a front band for each. Comes with a Rapine 2 cavity .570 round ball mold. I have never fired the rifled barrel. I've shot the smoothbore barrel maybe 25 times. This gun was inspected and comes with a SAC card. $2000

If you are interested in either gun send me a note at zouave47@gmail.com and I'll send pictures.

While I have put prices on both I am also open to trades. I'm looking for 4 original guns in particular:

1) 1854 Jaeger
2) Enfield Artillery Carbine
3) Merrill Carbine - first or second model
4) Joslyn carbine - first or second model
5) what else do you have?

I have located the Enfield carbine, but am still looking for the Jaeger, Merrill, and Joslyn.

I will be bringing the Fremont and Cadet to the Nationals.
