I'm looking for an original Springfield rifle musket in 58 caliber to use as a skirmish gun. I have a Pedersoli 1861 right now, but it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion and I prefer originals. I'm still pretty new to the N-SSA, so please let me know if you have one available.

Thanks,
Grant

Have original 1861 Springfield made by Bridesburg if you are interested.

I have an original musket but the rifling is gone. If you buy my musket, you can drop in a good repro barrel from a reputable barrel maker and bust your way to birds and targets. Low four digits in price.

I've got an 1863 Springfield with a Hoyt liner, test fired once $1,550.00. It'll be at the Reddings Auction house gun show on Table Rock rd. just above Gettysburg Mar. 23-24 if you want to look.

I have a few 2 banders I'd part with for a new skirmisher, a shootable bore original with all original parts with an 1861 dated Springfield lock I'm waiting on a SAC card for around 900 and an all original colt special with a fresh hoyt liner and a peep sight for I'd let go for 1100.
