Since Bob is a very busy man, does anyone know the price for lining a Pietta Smith Carbine?

1) His rifled musket price is $250.

2) Cap n ball revolver pricing for lining?

3) Does he charge extra for gain twist applications?

I know I will be sending my Pietta Smith Barrel to him for lining. My question is, has it been worth the effort (or cost) to anyone who applied the gain twist boring into a Pietta Carbine short barrel (or any breech loading carbine barrel)?

I watched his interview video on YouTube, he does state a flatter trajectory and higher muzzle velocity are achieved within patched round balls. Great, I can cut back on powder loads for the carbine...but is there better grouping with the twist compared to his regular lining?

Has anyone noticed this difference, have results, or shot both barrel configurations?

I remember reading that a twist is better for a breech loader, hence helping tube / bullet spacing into the rifling of a carbine.

I would like to hear everyone's opinion upon this matter and alongside pricing.

Check out Part 2 - Response...This has Bobs current pricing sheet on PDF. 11/2023

Thanks,
