Anyone use the below pictured bullet styles in competition? Are the 575213 or 575494 styles a better choice?

molds can be converted to self centering core pin. Much faster

The 460 grain is what is called the old style minie. Yes, some people shoot these. The 565 grain is for the Enfield I believe. It has a short cup in the base. May be a hard sell. Few people like shooting a bullet that heavy.

What is the best style of conversion for the self centering core pin? Saw a picture of a side conversion that looked interesting.

Thank you John for your input. The 565 gr. Enfield mold bullet profile looks the same as the 575213. Maybe the core pin could be swapped out to produce a lighter bullet?

A slotted bottom plate holding the core pin. My opinion. We have several machinists here who can do it
